Hello again! Today we're gonna focus on two topics today - cooking and pets. But for now, only one. we are focusing on a SUPER-DELICIOUS banana pomegranate-smoothie!
The (optional) addition of freshly squeezed juice and a sweetener mixed together before blending together the ingredients to make the actual smoothie itself yields a slightly sweeter taste in the finished product. You can find the best pomegranates in early fall, after the yearly rain showers here in Pakistan.
This recipe served three - my mom, my grandma and me. If you're in North America, you can add a handful of strawberries or raspberries before blending in the ice.
Banana Pomegranate Smoothie
3 small bananas
3/4 cup yogurt
3/4 cup pomegranate juice
2 tsp sugar
8-10 ice cubes, depending on thickness
Chuck all your ingredients into your blender.
Whizz until completely smooth.
Pour into 3 individual glasses.
Garnish with a toothpick umbrella, a slice of banana at the side and a straw.
Serve immediately, or add some fruit into some popsicle moulds and freeze for 4-8 hrs or overnight.
